Those were your words, not mine, spoken to me about someone else. You speak in metaphors when you’re aggravated, you said. And you were aggravated. Yet you never understood my aggravation when I was put in the same situation by you. Your own words used against you. This feels like a gift to me. And words are always such a lovely gift.
