What goes around comes around. That is such a triviality. I mean, it doesn’t even sound like proper English. Doesn’t ‘around’ mean a complete circuit? It goes around, meaning it moves away from you until it comes back. Am I not correct? The way I see it is it goes and comes back, then goes and comes back again. “You get what you give” is the same meaning, only it makes so much more sense. Nowadays, it seems like “what goes around comes around” involves an additional party rather than just yourself. Karma is the plague of the 21st century. It’s no longer about receiving what you do. As in, do good and you shall receive good. No. If a person is treated badly, that person will treat someone else badly. And, more often than not, the recipient is innocent. Not everyone is like that though. Not everyone finds it a necessity to lash out at some random stranger. I do not know you, nor do you know me. We have never interacted prior to this occasion. And yet, you find it in you to treat me as if I have raped and pillaged your family. Please, if you would be so kind as to exit through the gift shop.
probably your best post so far.
